I’ll keep it brief, we are a local company calling about your property at (address) .... Our system indicates that (utility company name) swapped your meter out & you’re eligible for net metering.

So… what's going on right now is because you qualify for net metering you can make the switch to clean energy. By making the switch you can qualify for several thousand in tax benefits, cut your electric cost down dramatically and lock your rates in forever.

I’m looking at your home and your home is a great candidate for this program because you get (# of hours) of usable sunlight per year. The state has a new program that allows you to get the solar panels installed, warrantied & activated without anything coming out of your pocket.

However there are a few things you need to qualify.

1. How much are you currently paying for electricity?

Wow! That is a lot of money for electricity, is that every month?

As I mentioned, the only thing I'm going to need from you (customer name) is your most recent electric bill. On the electric bill there is a bar graph that shows your annual electric usage. That information is extremely important to see how many panels you will need and to calculate your savings and incentives.  Do you do paper billing or online billing? Can you grab that quick.

  • Call utility company   

  • Have them dig up a bill

  • Have them log in to their online account 

  • LAST RESORT / Set a time to get the bill before the meeting
